Why do I have duplicate charges on my credit card?

Most likely the credit card system requested multiple transfers but one was declined due to bad expiration date, wrong billing address or bad verification code.   When this happens the request will look like a transfer at first but will never be withdrawn from your account.  The other charges will disappear from your statement within 3-4 business days.
